Ha Giang is what happens when the mountains decide one pass isn't enough and stack them up one after another. Over five days you'll travel through Quan Ba, Dong Van, Ma Pi Leng and the quiet Du Gia valley in your own DCAR limousine van with a private guide: no strangers sharing your ride, and no motorbike handlebars in your hands.
By Ha Giang standards, this is a relaxed route: two nights in a 4–5* hotel in Ha Giang city, one night in a 4–5* hotel in Dong Van and one night in a Du Gia homestay with dinner, local corn wine and a cultural programme. Your guide speaks fluent English.
It's ideal for couples, families and groups of up to 9 who want to experience the rugged far north in comfort, stopping wherever they like. The roads are winding and the drives are long, so if you get car sick, bring tablets; everyone else, bring plenty of free space on your phone.
