A tour for visual people and aesthetes. We'll show you the Paris that early 20th-century artists dreamed of and famous novels described — a Paris not shown in ordinary guidebooks, yet one that keeps the style and spirit of the real city. We'll spend the day like the Parisians of the Left Bank — a truly select crowd — and along the way learn about the ties between France and Russia in that era.
What makes this walk unique?
A living atmosphere
- Immersive: The city not as a metropolis, but as something very personal and intimate. Practically no tourists.
- All of it real: We don't look through glass — we go inside, sit in the armchairs, stroll through the parks and feel the atmosphere.
Hunting for details
Spaces:
Parks, squares and even a cemetery, the Montparnasse Tower, secret courtyards, historic restaurants and cafés where debates flared, love affairs began and famous artists and writers sometimes came to blows: Modigliani, Picasso, Hemingway, Akhmatova, Mayakovsky and others.
The main goal of the walk is to experience the city not the guidebook way, and to feel like a Parisian.
