Self-guided day
How the self-guided trip works
The main idea is simple: no excursion is required. You need the right ticket, time before the boat, and the rule that you go through the Hon Tam desk instead of walking straight to the pier.
Buy the ticket online
Choose date, package and guests. After payment, the ticket and instructions will be available in the Uncle Vanya Vietnam client portal.
Get to the VinWonders terminal
Use VinBus, taxi or your own transport. Hon Tam departs from the same terminal area as Vinpearl/VinWonders.
Go to the Hon Tam desk
Staff check your ticket and direct you to the right pier. This step matters, so you do not board the wrong boat.
Spend the day on the island
Mud baths, pools, beach, food or FNB are included strictly according to the selected package.

When to be at the port
Boats to Hon Tam run on a fixed schedule. The working rule: arrive at the Hon Tam desk 20-30 minutes before departure. If you come at the last second, you can miss the correct boat.
Do not go straight to the pier. First go to the Hon Tam/VinWonders desk: staff check your ticket and guide you to the correct boat, so you do not lose time or board the wrong route.

Mud baths on Hon Tam
This is the main reason many people choose Hon Tam: sea bathing plus mud bath. If mud baths matter to you, choose a package where they are clearly listed in the name.
- Mud baths are included only in packages with mud bath in the name.
- Packages can differ by kayak, lunch and booking time.
- Lunch and mud bath services have separate booking time windows.

Children, A+B zones and activities are straightforward
Before payment, check the rules for height, food and activities. That way you pick the right package from the start.
Child tariffs by height
Guests below 100 cm enter free. Child ticket applies from 100-139 cm; adult ticket from 140 cm.
Zone A & B access
Zone A and Zone B are island navigation zones. With a valid ticket, guests can use both under the selected package rules.
Senior tariff
For the 60+ tariff, guests need to show photo ID at the ticket counter.
Food packages
Lunch and FNB are included only in packages where food is clearly listed. Otherwise food and drinks are paid separately.

How much is a Hon Tam ticket and what is included?
Sea bathing for an adult starts from 290,000 VND in low season; mud bath packages start from 400,000 VND. Final price depends on date, season and selected package and is calculated in the order form.
Can I visit Hon Tam without a guided tour?
Yes. Buy the ticket, arrive at the VinWonders/Vinpearl terminal, go to the Hon Tam desk and board the boat as directed by staff.
Is VinBus included?
Yes. Tickets bought with us are valid for VinBus to the terminal. After that you board the Hon Tam boat.
What about Zone A and Zone B?
Zone A and Zone B are island zone names. Guests with a valid ticket can use both under the selected package rules.
Why can’t I go straight to the pier?
Boats run on a fixed schedule and the terminal serves different routes. First go to the Hon Tam desk, so staff can guide you to the correct pier.
Are water sports included?
No. Water sports are not included in the ticket and are paid separately on site.
Is food included?
Only if lunch/FNB is listed in the selected package. If food is not listed, meals and drinks are paid separately.
Can I go with small children, and what height is free?
Yes. Guests below 100 cm enter free. Child ticket applies from 100-139 cm, adult ticket from 140 cm.
What do I receive after payment and what should I show at the desk?
After payment, the order appears in the Uncle Vanya Vietnam client portal. Show the ticket/confirmation at the Hon Tam desk so staff can check it and guide you to the correct boat.

When is the last return boat?
