About the tour

Description

Cambodia's signature route at the right pace: we set off in the dark, watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat and then cover the Small Circuit without feeling like part of a 40-person school trip.

After sunrise we head to Ta Prohm, where trees embrace the stone so dramatically you'd think the temple hired its own art director. Then Bayon, Angkor Thom, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King — the essentials of Angkor, but with proper breaks for photos, water and catching your breath.

The price is for a private tour with a Russian-speaking guide: 1-2 people — 128 USD, 3-6 people — 155 USD, 7-14 people — 190 USD, 15-20 people — 215 USD.

We head to Angkor Wat ahead of the crowds and the heat, because the sunrise doesn't wait — not even for the most persuasive tourists.

Sunrise at Angkor Wat

the towers reflected in the water, the first photos and an unhurried visit to the main temple.

08:00

Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei

roots, galleries, ancient stone and that very shot that suddenly turns your phone into a professional camera.

10:00

Bayon and Angkor Thom

stone faces, the gates of the ancient city and a great story without museum-style tedium.

12:30

The Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and return to the hotel. By lunchtime you'll have seen more than many people manage in two days.

Before you go

Good to know

Why such an early start?
Sunrise at Angkor Wat is the highlight of the route. Plus, mornings bring soft light and less heat — and in Cambodia that's not a "nice bonus", it's practically humanitarian aid.
Are Angkor tickets included?
No. The Angkor Pass is paid separately, on site or in advance online. We'll let you know the current option for your date in advance.
Can I go with an English-speaking guide for less?
Yes. An English-speaking guide is cheaper; the manager will recalculate the price manually after you submit your request.
